News Studios
Your Neighborhoods, Your News
We take the "public" in public media seriously, and literally, striving to establish community outposts throughout our region and expand our news operation to reach more people across our service area in the communities in which they live and work. In addition to our headquarters in Boston and our satellite studio in the Boston Public Library, WGBH operates news studios in the Massachusetts State House and the city's Dorchester neighborhood.
We’re the only radio station in Massachusetts to have a dedicated, full-time State House reporter, who reports the latest in legislative developments and election coverage in real time. Our news studio in Dorchester's Field's Corner gives reporters easy access to Boston’s largest, and one of its most diverse, neighborhoods, telling previously untold stories right from where they happen.
